How do I contact university and scholarship committees?

Sometimes there are specifics about certain scholarships and university applications that GrantMe may not know the answer to. Here are a few steps you can take to make sure your questions get answers!

1. Check out the scholarship or university committee's FAQ

Your question may be answered on their website! In addition to FAQs, you can also often find other useful information such as past winners or their winning essays to give you an idea of how to structure your essay. Here's an example of the FAQ page for the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award

2. Check out their contact page

The majority of scholarship and university application committees will have a point of contact! You can find their contact information either on their website or the application form itself. Any technical difficulties should be directed to the scholarship committee as they will be able to give you the best advice on what your next steps should be.

First, start by calling them if they have a phone number. If they do not answer, proceed to send them an email. Here's an example of the contact info for the RE/MAX Quest for Excellence Scholarship!

For specific questions about your university application, you will want to contact Academic Advising or Admissions. Here are some examples of where you might find this information for a university!

3. Shoot us an email!

If you're stuck and can't find the answers you need through the scholarship administrators, you can always send us an email and we will do our best to support you!
