How Do I Prepare For My Consultation?

Wondering whether you should iron your buttoned-up shirt for the consultation? We will set you straight and tell you everything you need to prepare for the consultation!

Do my Parents Have to be There?

First things first, yes, parents have to be there. And that's because we cover valuable information such as the tuition of our platform. If your parents are responsible for your educational decision-making, having them there will help us discuss the program and answer any questions they have.

If all of the decision-makers cannot attend the call, we may ask you to reschedule.

If you are living independently from your parent(s)/guardian(s) and will be funding the use of our platform by yourself, then you do not need anyone else on the call.

Can I cancel and/or reschedule a call?

Yes, you can!

When booking a call with one of our team members, please make sure that both you and your parent(s)/guardian(s) are able to make the call. Learn more about why this is important here.

You may cancel a call and reschedule, but please keep in mind that last-minute cancellations take opportunities away from other prospective students! Double-check that your interview time works for you and your family.

If you're feeling overwhelmed with completing tasks, we have a helpful guide to help you optimize your time and manage a Google calendar here.

When I try to book a call, why are there no times available?

All of our spots may be filled for the week you are looking at. Please check back to see if any spots become available this week or the following!

Do I have to pay for the consultation?

No, the consultation is free. And we promise there are no strings attached!

What should I prepare for the consultation?

Our educators will be able to help you identify funding opportunities and resources during this consultation. We want to get to know you so that we can offer you the right support. We will ask you about your academic average, your educational goals, and your volunteer and leadership experiences. You can also talk about your favourite ice cream flavour if you'd like, but we suggest that you do it after you have been accepted to the program! Let's dig in to what you greatly need first—graduating debt-free—then we can discuss your winnings over ice cream!
